During the last leg of the trip in Nardò, things took a turn when I ran into some car trouble. Thankfully, a kind family living nearby came to the rescue. Not only did they help me get the car towed, but they also invited me to stay for dinner and even took me to their favorite local beach.
It turned out to be one of the most unexpected and heartwarming moments of the whole trip.
